Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making Patagram accessible to everyone.

Last updated: May 13, 2026

1. Our Commitment

Patagram is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the international standard for web accessibility. Accessibility is part of how we build the platform, not an afterthought.

2. Accessibility Features

We have built Patagram with accessibility in mind. Current features include: semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks throughout the interface; full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators; respect for the
prefers-reduced-motion
setting (animations disable automatically); a high-contrast mode that activates with the
prefers-contrast
setting; light and dark themes with verified color contrast; minimum 44×44px touch targets on mobile; localized screen reader announcements in English and French; and proper form labels, error messages, and status announcements.

3. Known Limitations

We are honest about where we still have work to do. Known limitations include: third-party payment checkout (Mollie) is not under our direct control, though we have selected a provider that meets accessibility standards; some real-time features (typing indicators, live message streams) may not be fully optimized for all assistive technologies; user-generated content (post images, videos, attachments) does not always include alternative text — this depends on the creator. We are working to improve these areas and welcome reports of any other issues you encounter.

4. Feedback and Contact

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Patagram, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at support@patagram.app. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days. Your reports help us identify and fix issues quickly.

5. Scope

This statement applies to the Patagram website at https://patagram.app and its subdomains. It does not apply to third-party services we link to or integrate with (such as payment providers or external content embedded by users).

6. Standards and Legal Context

We aim to align with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the EN 301 549 technical standard, which reference WCAG 2.1 Level AA. While Patagram currently qualifies as a micro-enterprise and is therefore not legally required to publish this statement, we believe accessibility is a core part of building a respectful platform — so we publish it anyway.
